How to Draft Across Parting Lines | SOLIDWORKS

Drafting is a graphical representation of structures, machines, and their component parts that communicates the engineering intent of a technical design to the craftsman or worker who makes the product. To know how to draft across parting lines follow video and detailed stepwise process.
You can create a draft on both sides of the Parting line selections at the same time from the Draft PropertyManager.

In the Draft PropertyManager, under Draft Angle, toggle Direction 2 and then specify your draft angles.
You can use the same draft angle for both directions by checking the Symmetrical Draft.
Define a Direction of Pull.
Then, under Parting Lines, select the model edges you want to use.
Toggle Show preview to view the draft before clicking OK.
